So this band is LC Messinger, former singer of Unknown Gender, a girl band that was apparently big in Europe at some point. This album is interesting – LC sings in a style that incorporates rock, jazz and folk, somewhat distorted and echoey, over trip hop and club beats, twangy guitars and fuzzy production. It’s sort of acid house-ish but not that bad.
