The Wildlife are an interesting band. They play garage and dance punk, and while they mix in tons of influences from classic rock to 60s pop to lofi techno, their heart seems to be in 70s r&b and light funk. They’re definitely unique in this genre, but the lofi and light funk elements mellow it out too much for me. But if they added some Slayer into their sound….
