According to Microcosm’s site, Everything Dies is a comic series that illustrates comparative religious myths. This one is on the ancient Sumerian creation and flood myths; this flood myth (one of many) was likely a template for the story of Noah’s ark.

Everything Dies has a cute and simplistic style with thick ink lines, a lot of empty and negative space, and very few words. It’s a three-minute read and it’s a charming look at a belief system, but the $5 price tag may itself be a leap of faith.

Bottom Line: A quick Joseph Campbell-y lesson with cute character designs.
