I used to like stuff on Hopeless Records but nowadays they just seem to put out nothing but whiny rock music (besides Mustard Plug of course). The Dangerous Summer are recent high school graduates but they don’t like sound like it. However, they do sound whiny. The first two tracks (“I Would Stay” and “The Permanent Rain”) are tolerable but then the rest of the music outstays its welcome…and this is a freakin’ EP!
Bottom Line: Not that great but not that horrible either.
Notable Tracks: Would Stay, The Permanent Rain
