Bernie Mac Show is different from other sitcoms. Not everything is all lovey dovey and sometimes you want Bernie to hit the kids, or at least I do.

If you haven’t seen any episodes, Bernie Mac Show is about…well Bernie Mac. This story is based on Bernie’s real life experiences and how he was living it large as a stand up comedian. He’s got a beautiful wife Wanda (Kellita Smith), a perfect job, nice car and house. His life changes when his messed-up sister goes into drug rehab and they get custody of her 3 children, Vanessa (Camille Winbush), Jordan (Jeremy Suarez) and a (Dee Dee Davis). Now Bernie Mac has to change the way he lives and become a more sensitive, father figure to the kids, even though they’re a bunch of pain in the asses.

While I think some episodes tend to be funnier than others, Bernie Mac Show is still a funny ass show to check out if you haven’t already. There’s not a whole of extras on here but you’ll want to buy this DVD set just for the episodes.
