It’s time for DVD/Blu-Ray Tuesday Roundup for April 6th 2010! Some of the releases coming out today include: The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy (Theatrical Editions) Blu-Ray, Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, The Natural (Director’s Cut) Blu-Ray, Sharpe’s Peril, Cocoon Blu-Ray and more! Each week I’ll list the latest DVD/Blu-Ray releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows!

Here are the DVD/Blu-Ray releases of the week:

The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy (Theatrical Editions) [Blu-ray]

Wait for the Extended Editions!

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans [Blu-ray]

I heard mixed reviewed on Bad Lieutenant. Perhaps I’ll rent it on Netflix sooner or later

The Natural (Director’s Cut) [Blu-ray]

Great baseball movie! Still doesn’t compete with The Sandlot though.

Sharpe’s Peril

The latest Sharpe movie starring Sean Bean. I tried watching the first one, and it was okay. I don’t know if I’d watch other ones though.

The Thomas Crown Affair [Blu-ray]

A cool heist movie. Plus, Rene Russo naked. Extra points!

The Lord of the Rings (1978 Animated Movie) [Blu-ray]

This is just awful.

Cocoon [Blu-ray]

I liked this movie even though it’s just a movie about a bunch of old people half naked swimming in a magical pool.

Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami

If you buy this, you’re mentally retarded.

Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series [Blu-ray]

The entire season on Blu-Ray! Just a bit too pricey for most people.

Mythbusters: Collection 5

Mythbusters are awesome! It’s my favorite show to watch over the weekend.

Usual Suspects (2pc) (W/Dvd) (P&S) [Blu-ray]

“Give me the fucking keys, you fucking cocksucking motherfucker, aaarrrghh. “

Robocop (1987) (2pc) (W/Dvd) (P&S) [Blu-ray]

Now you can see Peter Weller brutually gunned down over and over again in high def!

Windtalkers (2pc) (W/Dvd) (P&S) [Blu-ray]

Good premise but executed poorly by John Woo. This was a laughable piece of shit, especially Christian Slater’s scenes.
