DVD Reviews | By on Sep 14th, 2010

It’s Tuesday, September 14th and it’s time for some DVD/Blu-Ray Tuesday Roundup! Some of the DVD and Blu-Ray releases coming out today include: The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Third Season, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Fringe: The Complete Second Season, Glee: The Complete First Season, Letters to Juliet, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Season Five, The Black Cauldron: 25th Anniversary Special Edition, Just Wright, Seven Blu-Ray, LOTR trilogy Blu-Ray, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest Blu-Ray and more! Each week I’ll list the latest DVD/Blu-Ray releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows!

Here are the DVD/Blu-Ray releases of the week:

The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Third Season

I just got into this show over the Summer and has skyrocketed to being one of my favorite comedies on TV right now. Expect a full review soon!

Fringe: The Complete Second Season

One of the best shows on TV right now! Great cast, each week there’s something interesting and second season definitely picked up from the debut season. Curious to see where the shows goes since both realities came into play last season.

Glee: The Complete First Season

I will never never never ever ever ever ever see this show.

Grey’s Anatomy: The Complete Sixth Season

All doctor shows seem the same to me

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)

I don’t have any expectations for this movie, but doesn’t look the greatest. I have it but haven’t gotten around to watching it yet. I’m sure I’ll have loads to say once I see it though.

Letters to Juliet

Seems like Amanda Seyfried has been in 50 movies this year.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Season Five

Another show I’d probably like if I saw it from the beginning.

Seven [Blu-ray]

What’s in the box??!

America: The Story of Us

History Channel brings us the story of America. Seems interesting and something I might like. History Channel either has cheesy things or really cool things. We’ll see what category this falls under soon when I review this.

Just Wright

More romantic comedies that aren’t very original.

Private Practice: Complete Third Season

More shows I have no desire to watch

Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job: Season 4

Is this show any good? Or is it just another weird Adult Swim show?

The Black Cauldron: 25th Anniversary Special Edition

See my review here.

Ghost Adventures Season 2

More rip-off ghost shows from a team of bozos

Rules of Engagement: The Complete Third Season

Is this any good or another typical CBS comedy?

The League: The Complete First Season

Didn’t this show just premiere??

Bill Maher: But I’m Not Wrong

Bill Maher is great! I always liked Real Time more than his stand-up but his stand-up is still very funny. A Comedian not afraid to say what’s on his mind and go against the norm.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring [Blu-ray]

Wait for the extended editions!

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers [Blu-ray]

Wait for the extended editions!

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King [Blu-ray]

Wait for the extended editions!

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest: Collector’s [Blu-ray]

I still haven’t seen this one yet. I Know I know…

Broken Lizard: Stands Up

The guys behind Super Troopers, Club Dread, Beerfest and others do stand-up.

Proposition [Blu-ray]

A slow, dark Aussie western. Worth watching if you like that sort of thing.
