It’s that time again! DVD Tuesday Roundup of August 18th 2009! Each week I’ll list the latest DVD releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows. Each DVD title links to Amazon.com, and if you purchase that product; the website gets a few cents! YAY!
Here are the DVD releases of the week:
I’ve only seen 1 episode but Dexter seems like a great show. I just can’t find the time to watch it. I’ve heard lots of great things about it, maybe one day I’ll get the time to see all the seasons, including this one.
The Sex and the City ripoff for teenagers and college students. XoXo ya hacks.
If I had to pick between watching this movie or having my nails ripped off with rusty pliers, I’ll take the later.
Don’t know much about this TV show but it looks cool I guess. I’d watch it if there wasn’t anything else on.
I wanted to review this but was never sent it. Probably because Fox likes to be cheap and only send the last disc of the set. What kind of crap is that! Anyway, from what I can remember of this season; it was okay but not as good as the previous seasons.
Is anything good on ABC Family? Yeah didn’t think so…
I remember watching Pete’s Dragon when I was little but I don’t remember much from it except the dragon that kept re-appearing and disappearing. The stoners must love this movie.
Saldy, this will probably be the last thing Patrick Swayze does since he’s battling cancer. The show only lasted 1 season, even though the critics liked this show (I think).
This was one of those movies I used to look at the VHS cover at the video store all the time, but wasn’t allowed to watch it since I was too young. Is this as good as Hot Dog, Porkys, Fraternity Vacation and Hardbodies? I eventually saw all those movies but never this one.
This looks familiar but I don’t think I’ve seen the whole thing of Last Starfighter. Maybe a few scenes when it was on cable?
I stopped watching Man vs Wild before but I need to start up again since that Will Ferrell episode was hilarious. I have no idea where he goes in this season but I’m sure at some point he pisses into a bottle and drinks it.
This show is like Ghosthunters for morons.
Live concerts are always fun to watch on DVD.
I guess with Peter Jackson and Spielberg making Tintin movies, this might be a good time to catch up on the cartoon.
If this show is claiming it’s real, it’s probably not. Would I still watch it? Of course!
