DVD Tuesday Roundup (December 1st 2009)

DVD Reviews | By on Dec 1st, 2009

It’s December 1st, and that can only mean one thing…it’s DVD Tuesday Roundup! Some of the releases coming out today include: Terminator Salvation, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Better Off Ted: Season One, Mystery Science Theater 3000: XVI [Limited Edition], Snatch and Lock Stock Blu-Ray. Each week I’ll list the latest DVD releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows. Each DVD title links to Amazon.com, where you can purchase the DVD(s).

Here are the DVD releases of the week:

Terminator Salvation (Director’s Cut) [Blu-ray]

I saw the theatrical edition on DVD (I don’t think it’s a director’s cut) but not sure what was added back into this Blu-Ray edition. I wish they released a Terminator Salvation DVD that was the director’s cut too. I liked the movie, it was different but could have been a little bit better.

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (Three-Disc Edition + Digital Copy + DVD) [Blu-ray]

The first Night at the Museum had its moments but I haven’t seen the sequel yet. I plan on watching it this week. I’m sure its not as good as the first.

Mystery Science Theater 3000: XVI [Limited Edition]

MST3k rocks!

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels [Blu-ray]

My favorite Guy Ritchie movie and one of the first DVDs I bought. Now it’s available on Blu-Ray. “Can everyone stop getting shot!?”

Snatch [Blu-ray]

Guy Ritchie’s 2nd gangster film. Snatch is a lot of fun too with a great soundtrack, I need to see this again!

The Green Mile (Blu-ray Book) [Blu-ray]

A sad movie from what I can remember. I need to see this again.

Saturday Night Live: The Complete Fifth Season

Back when SNL was funny.

Better Off Ted: Season One

Is this show any good?

The Mask of Zorro [Blu-ray]

I liked this movie. The sequel, not so much…

Into the Storm

Brendan Gleeson is a great actor, I guess that’s why he won awards for this.

Paper Heart

This looks like indie hipster garbage

Gremlins [Blu-ray]

I like Gremlins 2 better haha

Pale Force

Jim Gaffigan and Conan O’Brien team up and fight against people more tan than them?
