Welcome to DVD Tuesday Roundup for the week of February 24th 2009. I figured this might be a good weekly feature to do on the website. Many other websites do this as well so why not ReadJunk.com? We’ll probably do this for movies and CDs that are coming out as well but we’ll need help from other writers with that. Each week I’ll list the latest DVD releases that are buyable, forgettable and rentable. I can’t review everything I get but I’ll add little quips (or for some older RJ readers, “snaps”) next to each title that’s being released. Each DVD title links to Amazon.com, and if buy from that link that, you’ll be helping out this website!
Here are the DVD releases of the week:
The latest Futurama DVD comes out today and it looks funny. The last one I liked a lot so here’s hoping this one is just as good or even better. Expect a review of this one.
This show looked disturbing just because the guy plays all the parts but I’m actually intrigued by it. Anyone see it? does it look good? Is it Flight of the Concords funny or Little Britain funny? All I know is that guy looks creepy in drag
I don’t know much about this show except the Father from Malcolm in the Middle makes drugs in his underwear. And he won an Emmy for this????
This sex comedy actually looked funny to me. And I heard Seth Green’s Amish character is a scream. I’ll rent this one and see if it sucks or not. It probably will…
Believe it or not, I used to watch this show all the time. I love Damon Wayans and think he’s hilarious (especially his stand-up material). This show was a typical sitcom but I found myself watching it until they brought that little piano playing kid on the show. Then it just got dumb. Kids suck.
We’re suppose to review this movie on Blu-Ray. The movie stars Robert De Niro, along with an impressive cast. Looks like a cool movie that satires Hollywood.
Who the fuck would buy this on DVD?
Mike Rowe is a very funny man but I usually don’t have the stomach to watch this show. If you do, here’s all 4 collections so far!
There’s nothing worse than watching a bunch of porno stars acting in a “real” R-rated movie. Stop this silly charade and screw people!
That’s it for this week’s notable releases. See ya next week!
