DVD Tuesday Roundup (July 7th 2009)

DVD Reviews | By on Jul 7th, 2009

It’s July and it’s time for the DVD Tuesday Roundup! Each week I’ll list the latest DVD releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows. Each DVD title links to Amazon.com, and if you purchase that product; the website gets a few cents! Woohoo!

Here are the DVD releases of the week:

Nic Cage plays an astrophysicist….yeah right

Chris Evans is pushing things? And they made a movie out of this!?

Mystery Science Theater 3000: XV

Great series, but it stinks I didn’t get the last 2 sets to review. Not sure how good these are or not but MST3K is always a good time.

Flight 666 [Blu-ray]

I really want to see this Iron Maiden doc!

Matlock: The Third Season

This is something to get the grandparents for their birthday. That is, if they even know what a DVD is.

Peanuts: 1960’s Collection

Great collection of a few Peanuts TV specials. I’m currently watching this but I’ll have a full review up this week!

The Unborn

The commercial for this movie freaked me out.

Reno 911!: The Complete Sixth Season

I used to watch Reno 911 and then it just became redundant. Same jokes, same type of characters. I’m actually surprised there still going with this show.

Grumpy Old Men [Blu-ray]

Good morning Dickhead!

Kath & Kim – Season One

Not sure why they are saying Season 1 since the show was canceled.

Mr. Rock N Roll: The Alan Freed Story

Hey if it’s got Judd Nelson in it, it MUST be good!
