DVD Tuesday Roundup is upon us! Each week I’ll list the latest DVD releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get all the time so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows. Each DVD title links to Amazon.com, and if you purchase that product; the website gets a few cents! Woohoo!
Here are the DVD releases of the week:
Ghostbusters is finally on Blu-Ray. I heard the transfer sucks though but i’m sure it’s better than the DVD release.
Season 2 of Burn Notice is just as good as the first season. Although it starts to become a formula, which needed to be broken. I’m hoping Season 3 changes things up a bit, which it looks like it might. Haven’t looked at extras yet for this disc but I’ll get to it this week (maybe), since 20th Century Fox didn’t want to send me a full set. Boo to 20th Century Fox!!
Some funny episodes, some really annoying episodes. Surfin’ Bird comes to mind.
I only saw this classic Kubrick film last year. It has some funny moments but maybe I have to see it again to figure out why this is a classic?
WALT!! The first season comes to Blu-Ray. If I had a Blu-Ray player, I’d be watching this show all over again just to make sense of what happened in the Season 5 finale.
WHERE’S MY SON!? WALT!?
I’m not a fan of horror movies but STOP REMAKING MOVIES THAT DON’T NEED TO BE REMADE!
I can’t wait to watch this! I haven’t seen the original animated series in ages. I wish I had money to buy the complete series set.
Fantastic series. I wish they had a mini-series like this for each President..well except about the newer ones of course. I’ll probably buy this on DVD when the price goes down a bit.
I remember seeing this in the theaters opening night, crying laughing during the whole movie. I still laugh my (space)balls off watching this. “WE AIN’T FOUND SHIT!”
Why do people pay money to see Tyler Perry movies? I’d rather jump out of a plane without a ‘chute on than see one of his movies.
If this was in the real world, just about every girl in the school would be pregnant or raising a kid. Or maybe that was just my high school?
Should we really be seeing a Rolling Stones film in HD? Do we really want to see the detail in Keith Richards’ face?
Watching people sailing isn’t exciting to me.
Excellent sports movie. Gotta love hockey movies!
Steve Coogan and Hilary Duff?! What a weird combo!
The first film is awful, what makes you think I want to see another one?
Reggae movie featuring Leroy “Horsemouth” Wallace, Gregory Isaacs, Peter Tosh, Jacob Miller, Big Youth
