It’s time for another DVD Tuesday Roundup! Each week I’ll list the latest DVD releases that are worth buying or not. I can’t review everything I get but I’ll add quick reviews/snaps next to each title that’s being released. Each DVD title links to Amazon.com, and if buy from that link that, you’ll be helping out this website! Let’s get on with it shall we?

Here are the DVD releases of the week:

True Blood: The Complete First Season

Lots of nudity in this series I believe, but I’m terrified of vampires. Maybe I’ll fast forward through the episodes until I see a boob?

24: Season Seven

Why is Fox releasing the season right after it aired? What morons do you have to be to allow this? Who wants to watch the entire season over AGAIN this soon!? At least by releasing it in the winter, you get pumped up for the next season. Stupid move. This season started out good but then got really dumb at the halfway point.

Friday Night Lights: The Third Season

This show is still on the air?

Paul Blart: Mall Cop

Middle America made this movie a blockbuster. This should have been a straight-to-DVD release. Get ready for a movie based around fat jokes.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (Skynet Edition) [Blu-ray]

One of the greatest action films of all time!

Front cover features Kristen Bell in the Slave Bikini outfit. I’m sold!

A Bug’s Life [Blu-ray]

One of my favorite Pixar movies. I haven’t seen this movie in years but I’m sure it looks amazing on Blu-Ray.

Pathfinder, 13th Warrior, Battlefield Earth get released into theaters yet this one didn’t? I might check this out just for shits and giggles.

Valkyrie (Two-Disc Special Edition + Digital Copy)

I just love saying the word “Valkyrie” the way Tom Cruise says it. I’m not sure what I’ll think of this movie, but the trailers bugged me since every actor talks in a different accent.

8 Simple Rules: The Complete Second Season

First season was funny then John Ritter tragically passed away. I didn’t bother watching too much of this season, and frankly no one else did either.

Enemy at the Gates [Blu-ray]

I like this movie a lot, and like how we finally get to see a different point of view of WWII.

Batman [Blu-ray]

Michael Keaton was a good Batman but Christian Bale plays a better Bruce Wayne. Jack Nicholson has nothing on Heath Ledger as The Joker.

Russell Brand in New York City

Russell Brand is hilarious but he’s the type of comedian where people either love him or hate him.

Stoners have something else to watch now.
