It’s time for the DVD/Blu-Ray Tuesday Roundup for April 19th 2011. The titles coming out today include: The King’s Speech, The Way Back, Rabbit Hole, Gulliver’s Travels, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air: The Complete Sixth Season and more. Each week I’ll list the latest DVD/Blu-Ray releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows!

Here are the DVD/Blu-Ray releases of the week:

The King’s Speech

Excellent movie, and think it deserved the Oscars it got. Geoffrey Rush was terrific in the movie, as well as Colin Firth.

Mortal Kombat [Blu-ray]

Is this really worthy to be on Blu-Ray? Is Street Fighter on Blu-Ray? how about Betamax?

The Way Back [Blu-ray]

Peter Weir’s latest movie about a group of escapees from a Soviet prison in WWII. You had me at Peter Weir. Definitely want to see this one!

Rabbit Hole [Blu-ray]

This seems like a dark, depressing movie and something I really have no interest in seeing. I’m sure it’s a good film with great performances from Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart, but this isn’t for me.

Gulliver’s Travels [Blu-ray 3D]

See Jack Black fat and obnoxious in 3D! Just like every movie…

American Dad!, Vol. 6

When there’s nothing else on TV, I might put American Dad on TV. But I usually prefer staring at the wall.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air: The Complete Sixth Season

The final season of Fresh Prince, which I was sad when it originally left the air. I wasn’t going to see the Carlton dance anymore

Born to Raise Hell

Think Steven Seagal is born to raise hell in the retirement home soon. “Wipe my ass probably next time or I’ll rip your throat out!”

Captain Planet And The Planeteers: Season One

The first eco-friendly superhero. I’d rather watch a cartoon about Gary The No Trash Cougar. PICK UP YOUR TRASH!
