May is almost here! Time is certainly flying. But for now, it’s time for the DVD/Blu-Ray Tuesday Roundup for April 26th 2011. The titles coming out today include: South Park: Complete Fourteenth Season, Human Planet, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Blu-Ray, Sniper: Reloaded, and more. Each week I’ll list the latest DVD/Blu-Ray releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows!

Here are the DVD/Blu-Ray releases of the week:

South Park: Complete Fourteenth Season [Blu-ray]

Another strong South Park season, plus it had it’s fair share of controversies and death threats. For me, the stand out episodes were the Facebook episode, the Jersey episode, as well as the highly censored 200/201 episodes. episode 201 is still censored, and so is the commentary. Fucking lame!

Human Planet [Blu-ray]

John Hurt narrates a nature documentary series about humans and the nature. He should know, he had an alien living in his body for a short time.

Marvel The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Vol. 1

Can’t wait to see The Avengers movie next year. Let’s hope Thor and Captain America movies don’t suck either.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (The Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray]

I hated this movie a few years ago when I saw it for the first time. Maybe I’ll be more opened to seeing it again sometime, but I just didn’t get it. I liked the Hunter S Thompson documentary better!

Growing Pains: Complete Second Season

See Kirk Cameron before he became a religious whack-a-noodle.

Sniper: Reloaded [Blu-ray]

Billy Zane returns to the Sniper movie series, which is kind of cool in a way. The first film was decent; I think I remember seeing that one in theaters.

Sin City (Two-Disc Theatrical & Recut, Extended, and Unrated Versions) [Blu-ray]

All versions of Sin City on Blu-Ray! Its been a few years seeing this movie but definitely need to see it again. Can’t pass up seeing Carla Gugino’s scenes in Blu-Ray if you know what I mean haha.

Eric Balfour must needed money really badly to star in this one.

Bob Dylan: Don’t Look Back [Blu-ray]

A classic Bob Dylan documentary, which I haven’t seen yet. Since I like Dylan now, guess it’s a good time to see it.

Kill Bill: Volume 1 [Blu-ray]

Is this the first time Kill Bill is on Blu-Ray?

Kill Bill: Volume 2 [Blu-ray]

I liked Kill Bill Volume 2 so much better than Volume 1.

One of the most underrated movies in the last 20 years. Very cool flick with some great action scenes.
