It’s time for the DVD/Blu-Ray Tuesday Roundup for January 11th 2011. Yeehaw! I don’t know why I just typed yeehaw but that’s what I’m going with. The titles coming out today include: The Social Network, Dances with Wolves (20th Anniversary Edition) Blu-Ray, Piranha 3D, Louis CK: Hilarious, Rules of Engagement: The Complete Fourth Season, Raging Bull (30th Anniversary Edition) and more! Each week I’ll list the latest DVD/Blu-Ray releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows!
Here are the DVD/Blu-Ray releases of the week:
The movie I thought was going to turn out as the Turd of the Year is ending up being on the Best Of lists for lots of people, and could even win an Oscar! Who would have thought? Certainly not me. I haven’t seen Social Network yet but I might as well see it to see what the fuss is about.
One of my favorite movies! The extended edition of the movie is very nice and worth watching if you got 4 hours to spare. I know I’ll be watching this on Blu-Ray when I get this for review. Dances With Wolves is a movie I have to watch at some point every year. It’s just one of those movies. It’s epic, beautifully shot, the music is a masterpiece and I love it.
A movie that doesn’t take itself seriously and knows its a piece of shit. I still won’t pay money to see it though.
Haven’t seen this one yet. Is it worth sitting through?
Louis C.K always has funny stand-up specials. I have to review this one so expect a full review soon!
This show seems generic.
Believe it or not, Raging Bull is another movie I haven’t seen yet. I know it’s Scorese’s masterpiece and De Niro delivers quite a performance. I’ll get around to watching it sooner or later.
See one of the last roasts from Greg Giraldo. Roasting The Hoff seems too easy to me.
One of my favorite summer movies. It’s so old but still a great movie to watch before the summer time.
Never got around to seeing Funny or die Presents, mainly because it just didn’t look that great to me. It’s nice to see sketch comedy coming back but this didn’t seem that funny to me. Maybe I’m wrong though.
