It’s time for the DVD/Blu-Ray Tuesday Roundup for March 15th 2011. The titles coming out today include: The Fighter, Hereafter, The Switch, Sharktopus, BMX Bandits and more. Each week I’ll list the latest DVD/Blu-Ray releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows!

Here are the DVD/Blu-Ray releases of the week:

The Fighter (Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)

I have to review The Fighter this week but haven’t seen it yet. With the Oscar wins, the plot, and everyone involved, I’m looking forward to seeing this one. Canada’s The Mahones are also heard in the movie as well, which is pretty cool!

Hereafter (Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)

I have no idea what this Clint Eastwood’s movie is about, but it stars Matt Damon and got removed from Japanese movie theaters because it had tsunamis in the movie. I guess I’ll find out what it’s about when I also review this one this week.

The Switch [Blu-ray]

A quirky comedy starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman. Was this released in theaters? It seems like more and more movies are barely in theaters these days because there’s more money to be made on home video. But back to the Switch, from what I read and seen, it does look somewhat funny so maybe I’ll give it a chance.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold – Season One, Part Two

Yet another Batman cartoon…

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy [Blu-ray]

One of the best & funniest comedies in the last 20 years. WHY DON’T YOU GO BACK TO YOUR HOME ON WHORE ISLAND!

SyFy movies are quickly becoming the go-to-movies for bad movie nights. This looks so bad, that Eric Roberts thought about not starring in it..for just a second though.

Rugrats Trilogy Movie Collection

Was never a fan of the Rugrats.

BMX Bandits [Blu-ray]

HOLY CRAP THIS IS AVAILABLE?? I used to watch this movie all the time as a kid. It’s one of Nicole Kidman’s first movies and it’s about BMXers in Australia. I loved watching those long, drawn chase scenes in the graveyard and waterpark. I’ll definitely have to rent this one. Now only if we had Gleaming the Cube on Blu-Ray and DVD.

Barbie: A Fairy Secret

Barbie’s Fairy Secret is she’s dating LPGA Barbie.
