DVD/Blu-Ray Tuesday Roundup (October 11th 2011)

Blu-Ray Reviews, DVD Reviews | By on Oct 11th, 2011

It’s time for the DVD/Blu-Ray Tuesday Roundup for October 4th 2011 and some of the titles coming out today include: Green Lantern, The Tree of Life, Horrible Bosses, The Trip, Chuck: The Complete Fourth Season, and more. Each week I’ll list the latest DVD/Blu-Ray releases and point out the ones worth buying. I can’t review everything I get so this serves as a nice guide for what’s coming out each week. Plus, it’s just fun making fun of movies and TV shows!

Green Lantern (Three-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)

Ryan Reynolds looks perfect as Hal Jordan but not sure this movie will be good. It just looks too CGIed, granted it’s a comic book movie, there’s a thing with using too much CGI. I’ll see this week when I watch it.

The Tree of Life (Three-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)

Terrence Malick is an eccentric director and makes some interesting movies. This one has gotten mixed reviews, so who knows what I’ll think of it.

Horrible Bosses (Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)

One of the funniest comedies of the year! Very similar to Office Space.

Do adults without stupid children actually watch this shit?

Chuck: The Complete Fourth Season [Blu-ray]

Chuck continues to press on, and is currently in the final season of the show. Matt will have a review of this up on the site this week.

The Trip

A funny yet different kind of road trip movie. Not for everybody but fans of British comedy will appreciate this.

Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1: Season One

I’m not up to date on ATHF? Is this just a spin-off or something?

Ghost Hunters: Season 6: Part 2

You know a show has hit the crapper when The Real Housewives of Atlanta are on it.

Also coming out today:

Jem and the Holograms: The Truly Outrageous Complete Series

Workaholics: Season One

Bones: The Complete Sixth Season [Blu-ray]

Cream – Live at the Royal Albert Hall 2005 [Blu-ray]
