I could give you a synopsis of the film. I could tell you the plot. I could even give you my opinion about the story, the acting, the dialogue, and the choreography.
But that’s not what you want to hear. I know what’s on your mind: The Posey and The Goldblum in the same movie??!
I shit you fucking not. There they are. Not only in the same movie, but sharing scenes. The goldblumin poseyness of it all will shatter your puny mind unless you’re prepared for it.
Let this be your preparation. The two coolest actors, nay, demigods, stand in close proximity, breathing in the same air. It’s astounding, like watching God battle a dinosaur.
Watching them – together – can strain your mental capacities. But let me assure you that the world isn’t torn asunder by their co-starrability. Sure, we’ve all been warned that The Goldblum and The Posey are like matter and anti-matter, Christ and anti-Christ, Simon and Garfunkel. I held my breath for 118 minutes, wondering if at any moment the nuclei in each of my 10 trillion cells would split from the sheer awesomeness, thus resulting in the catastrophic equivalent of 100 billion atomic bomb blasts (thank you Snapple bottlecap facts!).
I’m losing my train of thought. THAT’S the power of these two fine actors/deities. Well, that and their ability to shoot lightning out their eyes. I’ve also heard The Posey can use her overbite to chew through SOLID STEEL!
I love these two crazy kids. I wish Fay Grim was a tv show or animated series so I can watch them together EVERY DAY. But am I like Moses who stared at the face of God and went mad? Sometimes I wonder… especially when people stare at me on the subway. WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT?!! HAVE YOU NEVER SEEN A PENIS BEFORE?!!
So, to sum up, you should see this movie. I know I haven’t.
