Another South Park season is over, but what fans can look forward to is another DVD! The 11th season is hilarious and filled with a lot of awesome episodes, including the epic Imaginationland Trilogy. This season also has Cartman fighting a midget so that alone is a reason to buy this DVD!

The first episode of South Park, is probably one of the funniest episodes ever. Randy Marsh is on Wheel of Fortune and trying to solve the puzzle. The word he spouts out is the N-word, because it seemed pretty obvious to him that’s what it was. Well it wasn’t and then he has to go apologize to Jesse Jackson for saying a racist comment. Randy is then known as the N-word guy. Meanwhile, Cartman can’t stop laughing at a midget and the midget challenges him to a fight. Other storylines this season involve Butters going to a special camp to make him stop being gay, Hilary Clinton has a bomb up her snatch, Ms. Garrison fights off Persians with her other lesbian buddies, the homeless take over South Park and turn into zombies, Cartman gets Tourette’s syndrome, and terrorist attack our imagination. As you can tell, the season is packed filled with awesome episodes!

I think Season 11 is a lot better than the 10th season. Last season had some quality episodes but this season seemed to have one great episode after another. I think the season started out excellent but ended kind of weak. I thought the last episode wasn’t the best one to end the season with; perhaps the Imaginationland episodes would have been better. According to Matt & Trey, those episodes weren’t even planned out to be 3 episodes. First, they were going to cram them all into 1 episode, then it was 2 episodes. Finally they had to continue the story into a third episode. I’m glad they did a 3 episode story arc because it’s probably the best thing they’ve done. They should have made that into a movie which they originally wanted to do. It’s always fun watching those episodes over and over because it’s fun spotting characters you didn’t see last time.

Another episode I really liked was the Snuke episode. I’m a big 24 fan and Matt & Trey nailed it with how all the 24 seasons have went down. The clock, the ringtones, the way Cartman talked, and the way that each Government agency wanted to take over the operation. They knocked that spoof out of the park. I thought the Night of the Living Homeless was a classic South Park episode. We’ve all thought how bad homeless people can be sometimes, but of course South Park takes it a few steps further. I just loved how they made it a spoof of the Night if the Living Dead/Day of the Dead movies. The last episode I thought was really strong was the More Crap episode. I just found it hysterical that they had an episode where guys were talking about how big their shit was. I thought I only did that! The funniest twist of the season was in that episode, and it was concerning Bono of U2. I’m glad they went after him because there’s something about Bono that makes me hate him.

Overall, I really enjoyed this South Park season and there was only a couple of episodes I didn’t like as much like the Lice episode and the List episode. If you have the other South Park seasons on DVD, you will know that the audio commentary is something to listen to. Matt and Trey only give 3-5 minute commentaries on episodes and they are still quite entertaining. I still wish they included some more extras on these DVDs but I’ll take what I can get. Bring on Season 12!
