The Story of Elle Woods, a ditsy Sorority member of a fake Californian University, who is expecting an engagement from her current boyfriend any minute.

At the “engagement” dinner, her boyfriend played by Matthew Davis, dumps her. He expects to become a senator one day and having Elle for a girlfriend doesn’t look good in his eyes. He then goes off to law school at Harvard University, and leaves Elle in ruins. Yeah yeah, get over it.

You’re pretty, it won’t take long to find a boyfriend. Elle finally gathers herself and decides to transfer to law school to follow her boyfriend. She figures she would be seen smarter and more appealing as a lawyer like her ex-boyfriend. Somehow she gets into the school and by sporting a bikini in a hot tub for her video application. NICE! At the same time, very unrealistic. Blah Blah Blah, she eventually ends up doing well after finding out her ex has a new girlfriend, played by bland Selma Blair.

So they end up competing in all the classes and Elle is selected as an intern for a law firm of one of her professors. She is on the committee along side her ex boyfriend, boring Blair, and Luke Wilson who is a lacky of Elle’s law professor. The rest of the story is pretty predictable and I wouldn’t have seen it if it wasn’t for my girlfriend who dragged me to see it, like most guys. Despite being a total chick flick, it wasn’t a complete waste of time. Cute girls, skimpy outfits and swimsuits, and ok story line kept me awake.
