I think I was the last person to see this movie. Meet the Parents was really funny and I can’t wait for the sequel, Meet the Fochers. Just when you thought things couldn’t get worse, they do! I love movies like that.
The storyline is Greg Focher wants to marry his girlfriend but when he’s about to, she finds out her sister just got engaged. Greg heard that her Father is a real hard ass “florist” and probably needs permission to marry his daughter. As soon as Greg meets the parents so to speak, nothing goes right.
Ben Stiller and Robert Deniro are a great team and I hope they do more comedies together. Deniro scares me. I bet he really acts like this in real life. I think for the sequel, they should have Ben Stiller’s real life parents in the movie because Jerry Stiller is a riot! YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME..YOU GOT IT!!! This movie was definitely one of the funnier movies of the year. Bring on the Sequel!
Bottom Line:
Favorite Scenes: There was a lot of them, the drag race scene, Ben Stiller getting pyscho on the airplane at the end, and the dinner scene was good.
