I thought this movie was going to be one of those typecast movies that Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L Jackson always play but I felt it wasn’t. I thought this movie was actually quite good.

The beginning of the movie started off with Jones and Jackson in the Vietnam War and there was lots of fighting, “ya think.” After that, some of the movie dealt with Jackson going over to middle east to try to resolve a conflict with hundreds of locals thrashing the U.S Embassy and killing some of Jackson’s men. Well that led to Samuel being the scapegoat of the incident then the movie goes into a big courtroom drama.

Tommy Lee is asked by Samuel to be his lawyer and he agrees since Jackson saved his life in ‘nam. Some of the “Gubment” people decide to play conspiracy with some tapes and forcing people to testify against Jackson’s character. I don’t want to give anyway too much but this movie was good. I thought it was going to be one of those type of movies but it really wasn’t. If you like Jackson and Jones as actors, I suggest you see this sometime violent military courtroom drama.
