A very very good comedy that I really loved, even though it was about jocks and their favorite pasttime.
Keanu plays a quaterback that never really had the chance to use his potential as this great all star player… His current job involves scraping shit off boats. Fun, huh? Well as usual, the jocks in the NFL get mad about not enough money, so the fools go on strike. Shocked? I’m not. Teams are forced to scramble for players, and Gene Hackman is hired as a new coach for one of em. Setting out to get himself a team of whacked out people, Gene gets a ton of fucked up guys. This is no lie either.
If I ever saw a football team with players on it like this one….I’d be an instant fan. No chance in hell that will ever happen though. So back to the point…. Heads butt, bodys slam, blood flows, fights happen… Shit get’s fucked up. Good flick though.
Favorite Scenes: The jail scene, where everyone sings…. Sappy, but funny.
