Damn this movie was so good and bad and sick and all that I don’t know how to feel about it. Let me just say though, that James Spader is a sickass actor. Anyone remember him as Jackson in “Stargate”???
Damn that movie was fine too. Basic plot. Keanu Reeves kills a lot of women, and thinks that he and James Spader are tied at the hip somehow. Spader plays the role of a disabled cop, taking a million pills for all the pain he has. (Don’t really know why he has all that pain though….) Oh well.
Spader lived in CA, but moved after a tragic death due to Reeves. He moved to… The windy city, Chicago. It took a while, but Keanu followed. And it starts up again. (The killing, that is.) This time though, Reeves mails Spader a picture of each girl with enough time to find them before they die. Each girl’s picture is slapped across the news, cops hand out fliers with her photo on it… The city mobilizes. Futile though, entirely futile.
They are going up against Keanu Reeves for god’s sake!!! But it all comes to a pretty cool ending. I left this movie feeling mixed opinions. The plot was repetative, but it had Keanu Reeves in it.. And his acting is always awesome. So fuck whatever any other reviewers say, I liked this movie.
Favorite Scenes: When Keanu rides the elevator next to Spader, and Spader has NO CLUE Keanu is the psycho.
