The story of the West Memphis 3 has been told in 4 perfect documentaries (and other books, movies, documentaries as well) so it’s not surprising that there’s a Hollywood movie being made about it. The fact that the true killer is still not in jail will make this case still a popular one even after this movie is released. While I’ll probably check this movie out, I don’t know if Damien Echols approves of this even though Jason Baldwin is an executive producer. It does have a good cast though which includes Colin Firth, Reese Witherspoon, Dane DeHaan, Mireille Enos, Bruce Greenwood, Elias Koteas, Kevin Durand, Stephen Moyer and Amy Ryan.
