(September 13, 2007) SENSES FAIL returns to the stage and the record store this fall after a brief summer break. The five-piece took the summer off after almost 10 straight months of touring in support of their second full-length, Still Searching, which debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200.
Still Searching, the Deluxe Edition, will be released on November 13th and features new packaging, 6 bonus tracks, and a DVD with over one hour of revealing behind-the-scenes footage from the band’s 2006 fall tour. The additional tracks include two brand new songs (recorded in late August with producer Brian McTernan), three b-sides, and a cover of The Cranberries’ “Salvation.” The tracks will be available as a separate purchase through all digital sales outlets, as well.
Deluxe Edition bonus track listing:
1. Battle Hymn
2. Champagne
3. Stretch Your Legs to Coffin Length
4. Mason’s Revenge
5. Cinco De Mayo
6. Salvation
Meanwhile, the band is gearing up to embark on a co-headlining tour with New Found Glory that begins in early October and includes multiple night shows in Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Diego. See current dates below.
The band is also set to release a very special video for their third single that was written by their fans on www.NetStudio.tv, a collaborative script development community site. Sixteen year-old Fabiana Di Maso of Boca Raton, Florida submitted the winning pitch for the band’s “The Priest and the Matador,” which was just produced by NetStudio. Senses Fail announced the contest on their website earlier this year and fans flooded to www.NetStudio.tv where thousands of submissions were received and voted on by fans.
Fabiana’s pitch was fine-tuned in a second stage that was won by 19 year-old Brent Gerety of Franklin Lakes, NJ. The completed video for “The Priest and the Matador” will debut the first week of October exclusively on www.NetStudio.tv.
