It’s very laid back, almost loungey jazz ska, and while sweet and cuddly to listen to, it’s not exactly overwhelmingly good or interesting. (But then again, that’s also how I feel about Checkmate, SeeSpot, Hepcat, Rhythm Doctors, Ocean 11, etc.).
It’s just good background music, not exactly great ska music. For great trad ska that will pull you back into the scene, check out the recent ones from the Allstonians, Israelites, and Bluebeats.
