Singer/songwriter stuff with very lush, almost hypnotic acoustic guitarwork. The vocals remind me a little of Jon Anderson from Yes – not so much the high register (though he can get up there), but in terms of range and a kind of dorky hippiness.
The guitar and vocal work are very competent, but the songs sounded too similar to each other and failed to grab me. Maybe Lien should embrace the granola feel and go more prog – he certainly has the talent for it.
Bottom Line: Warm, fuzzy, dorky.
