I got really excited because the first minute is this stop-and-go drum and guitar attack similar to 2112. But then the emo kicks in. Yeah. Emo.
There’s definitely a classic prog rock influence here, but the awful vocals and stupid lyrics, and total lack of rockitude kill it all. I’m gonna go listen to 2112 now and pretend this didn’t happen.
Bottom Line: Emo.
