After a bizarre Phil Collins-y intro, highlanders Flood Of Red get down to business with exceptionally melodic post-punk/post-hardcore.
There are some shades of emo and dark wave, but relentlessly brightly-tuned guitars cut a path through the brooding. Not bad.
Bottom Line: A good winter album for melodic punk fans.
