Going by the extremely DIY packaging of unreadable, hand-drawn, Xeroxed liners, I was expecting godawful junior high school punk. To my shock, the album starts off with some frenetic mandolin playing, and then thrusts into super catchy, well-produced, and – frankly VERY talented dixiepunk. In fact, you could call them the prize pig of dixiepunk! If there were a county fair of punk rock, these kids would get the blue ribbon!
Bottom Line: Kids today and their mandolins…
