I never have been a big fan of MxPx, probably because they were super whiny Christians. But I do liked some of their more popular tunes like “Punk Rawk Show” “Chick Magnet” “and “Teenage Politics.” I haven’t really heard anything after those albums. Now they been on a major label for a few years and their sound seems very poppy and the production quality is excellent. Some people might be turned off that. One can say the band has been together for years and their sound just get crisper and a better sound is the result, or it might be their changing their sound. Whatever is the reason, the band is still going strong and the Cd isn’t bad.
Bottom Line: HC fans of MxPx will either hate or love this.
