Year Future are like a noise-rock/post-punk blend of two great bands: the angst-ridden, cathartic, and shouty punk of 7 Seconds, mixed with the buzzing, ominous guitars and dark swirly undertones of Dead Kennedys. While the songwriting isn’t instantly catchy, it is certainly more accessible than most Gold Standard bands.
Bottom Line: Decent dark noisy punk.
