The CD kicks off with a memorable and peppy power-pop tune, fueled by cute female vox. Then the rest of the album is sludgy, boring indie rock. Not only does it fall flat, but the indie speed doesn’t suit the vocals, which go from cute and peppy to nasal and irritating.
