This awesome Spielberg SCI FI classic finally makes it onto DVD. Any SCI FI fan who hasn’t seen this movie, isn’t really a SCI FI fan then. I never saw the movie in Widescreen format before so that was cool. But the video and sound quality isn’t the greatest, because it’s an old movie. But anything is better than shitty VHS. This is a 2 disc collector’s edition and this DVD has plenty of extras, the way I like I it! There’s 11 deleted scenes, including Roy going in the spaceship. A lot of scenes are okay, and some should have been added into the movie. A lot of the deleted scenes involved the French guy and his interpreter. Plus they also showed more of the cover ups and brainwashing involving the airports and police stations. There’s also two featurettes on here but I haven’t gotten a chance to look at them yet. Overall, this movie is definitely worth getting and having for your collection.

Favorite Scenes: The ending is the best scene in the movie, but I also like Roy flipping out on his family, and I also like when Roy and Jillian are looking for Devil’s Tower.
