A lot of bands and labels have been getting on board with finding ways to donate or contribute to aid the victims of the Haiti Earthquake Disaster. Blink-182 have just released an exclusive Haiti Charity T-shirt.

Last week (December 3) at Slim’s in San Francisco, Rock to Roll 2009 was in full effect. NOFX, Wax, Dead to Me and Nathen Maxwell and the Original Bunny Gang played blistering sets to a frenzied crowd, and when the dust had settled the event was able to collectively raise over $22,000 for UCP-Wheels for Humanity.

The Virgin Mobile Fest is doing something Ozzfest has already done and is offering up FREE tickets. Sounds pretty sweet to me, I’d probably drive down if there were better bands playing. The full lineup playing the one-day fest include: Blink 182, Weezer, Franz Ferdinand, Public Enemy, Taking Back Sunday, Bravery, Girl Talk, Jet, The National, The Hold Steady, St. Vincent, Wale, and Mates Of State. The festival will also include a dance tent favorites that include Pete Tong, Danny Howells and Lee Burridge. An interesting lineup to say the least. The festival is happening August 30th at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD.

It’s time for poopie jokes and songs about chicks. “Chicks man…” Blink-182 are reuniting for the first time in over 5 years. The band will be offering 20 dollar lawn seats for fans; yeah, the fans really want to see the band all the way in the back for 20 bucks. Weezer and Fall Out Boy will be opening up for the band as well. PLUS Panic At The Disco, All American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday, Asher Roth and Chester French. They should call this Pussyfest 2009!
