Dropkick Murphys set to release “Live On Lansdowne, Boston MA” on March 16th
The Dropkick Murphys are set to released a new live CD & DVD, this time it’s called “Live on Lansdowne, Boston MA.” It will be released on March 16th on the band’s own label Born & Bred Records. DKM must be fans of live CDs & DVDs since this must be their 3rd or 4th live release. Hey, I’m all for it; especially when the Mighty Mighty Bosstones guest appear on “I’m Shipping Up To Boston.” Read the press release and check out the tour dates below:

Do you feel the Dropkick Murphys brought back the popularity of Celtic music mixed in with rock like The Pogues did in the 80s? Everywhere you go, there’s a kid wearing a DKM or Flogging Molly shirt. It seems like there is more Celtic rock/ Celtic punk b
Yeh I think it’s probably more popular now then ever, I think we were able to turn alot of younger kids on to bands like the Pogues and lots of traditional stuff as well.
