The Weinstein Company and Genius Products are excited to announce the arrival of a true Miriam Collection gem, JOY DIVISION, on DVD June 17th.

JOY DIVISION is an introspective documentary on the English punk band’s trials and tribulations as movers and shakers in rebel music. Music-video veteran Grant Gee merges archival footage and testimonies from band members and key musical players to reveal the influences and success behind the band. JOY DIVISION covers the group’s early days as the band Warsaw, its post-punk glory as Joy Division, and the untimely death of its lead singer Curtis.

Synopsis
Interviews with band members Bernard Summer, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris and other individuals, blend with archival footage and more to offer a chronological account of the influential late 1970s English rock band Joy Division.
