I haven’t seen the film yet but the soundtrack is pretty good. It’s composed Stephen Endelman, who also composed “The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain.” Obviously, the score is filled with Celtic themes and instruments. That’s probably why I like it a lot, since I’m listening to a lot of Celtic music of late. I was actually surprised to hear Pierce Bronson sing two trad. Irish tunes on here. Maybe he sings in the movie, I don’t know but I like it. I’ve heard the Dubliners do “Banks of the Roses” and the Pogues do “Parting Glass” but Pierce Bronson holds his own I think. I believe they use “Parting Glass” in some of the score tracks as well. Overall, a pretty good score.

Bottom Line: Celtic themed score with two fun songs by Pierce Bronson of all people
Notable Tracks: “Banks of the Roses” “Parting Glass” “Opening Credits” “Desmond Hugs Evelyn”
