I swear every Heartbeat CD I get, it’s awesome. This time it’s some more great old school ska. Many of these tracks are really rare until now. Some of the artists on this compilation are quite legendary and some of them are: Don Drummond, Ronald Alphonso, Alton Ellis, Tommy McCook, and Justin Hinds. I don’t think you can call yourself a ska fan without listening to some of this type of ska. It’s just too good and classic. Some of the songs that I loved was “Hold Me Tenderly” Owen and Leon Silvera, “Penny Reel” Eric Morris and Justin Hinds, and “You Don’t Know” The Techniques featuring Slim Smith. All the tracks of Justin Hinds and The Dominoes are always great to hear too. I definitely recommend this to the ska lovers.
