Sam Raimi is back making horror flicks, something he was born to do. He hasn’t done a horror movie since the Evil Dead movies. Since he has a few more movies under his belt, I’m sure this is ten times better than what he started out making. Drag Me To Hell is about a loan officer who turns down a loan, and gets cursed in the process. If she doesn’t pass along the curse, she gets sent to Hell. So this is family film then?

Sam Raimi directing World of Warcraft movie

Nerds rejoice! Evil Dead & Spiderman director Sam Raimi will be directing a featured length World of Warcraft movie. Charles Roven (The Dark Knight) will be producing the movie as well. Raimi will supervise the project & direct right after he’s done with Spiderman 4. While I can’t stand the game and the people that play it with their lame headsets, having a top notch director involved with a fantasy movie sounds pretty cool to me. Let’s hope this doesn’t suck like Spiderman 3.

Gary Ross re-writing Spiderman 4

Writer/Director Gary Ross has been picked to re-write the script for Spiderman 4. Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire are set to return to the popular movie franchise and let’s hope Ross does a good job! I wasn’t pleased with the last Spiderman movie and thought it sucked pretty much. As well as Gary Ross, James Vanderbilt and David Lindsay-Abaire have been writing the screenplay. If they can’t come up with a good script with 3 people, then there’s something wrong here.
