Vancouver, Canada’s five-piece melodic hardcore band DAGGERMOUTH is thrilled to be on tour with Drive Thru Records’ recording artist I Am The Avalanche (formerly The Movielife) November 17 to December 15 throughout the USA.

“Touring with I Am the Avalanche means a lot to us. The Movielife was a band that we all loved when we were kids and every night with the Avalanche is a party! Basically what I’m trying to say is that touring with the Avalanche is like having Christmas morning everyday!” tells guitarist Kenny Lush.

Daggermouth is touring in support of this year’s release Turf Wars (Smallman Records / State of Mind Recordings). Recorded at The Hive Studios in Edmonton, Canada, Turf Wars is a fast and poppy album, reminiscent of mid-90’s punk and influenced by bands such as Jawbreaker, Lifetime and The Movielife. Turf Wars is the follow-up to 2005’s debut, Stallone.

Formed in 2004, Daggermouth (Nick Leadlay on vocals, Kenny Lush on guitar, Stuart McKillop on guitar/vocals, Cody K on bass, and Dan Donald on drums) went from playing basements to playing over 150 shows in the year, including bills with The Audition, Final Fight, SNFU, DOA, Shook Ones and Love Equals Death. As Lush puts it, “We have a sweet white van and aren’t afraid to use it.”
