Photo Finish Records has announced the upcoming release of “USED AND ABUSED,” the eagerly anticipated full-length debut from Danger Radio. The Seattle-based outfit’s album will be available in stores and via all online retailers on July 8th. “USED AND ABUSED” is currently available for pre-order via Danger Radio’s MySpace page, www.myspace.com/dangerradio, as well as through Photo Finish Records’ own http://store.photofinishrecords.com. iTunes pre-orders will begin today, with an additional “USED AND ABUSED iTunes Exclusive Bundle” featuring the previously unreleased track “Heart You Stole,” a newly minted version of the band’s popular “Party Foul,” and the band’s “Party Foul” video (available for the first time ever on iTunes).

Danger Radio have slated a full-on tour schedule to herald the release of “USED AND ABUSED.” The band which recently lit things up at the annual Bamboozle extravaganza will join Cute Is What We Aim For on their eagerly awaited summer tour. The trek will take off June 15th at Pittsburgh’s Diesel Club Lounge, with dates continuing through mid-August (see attached itinerary). From there, Danger Radio will join forces with Meg & Dia for an additional series of U.S. dates, beginning August 20th at Valentines in Albany, New York.

“USED AND ABUSED” sees Danger Radio joined in the studio by two extraordinary producers, Mike Green (Paramore, The Matches) and Mike Elizondo (Eminem, Maroon 5, Rilo Kiley). Tracks such as “So Far Gone” and “Kiss N’ Tell” are genre-blasting, hook-filled, and utterly irresistible, instantly marking Danger Radio as a head-turning, party-starting new outfit. Songs from the album will be premiering throughout the month of June at Danger Radio’s MySpace page, where previous tracks have already drawn nearly 2.5 million total streams.

The album follows Danger Radio’s inaugural Photo Finish release, 2007’s “PUNCH YOUR LIGHTS OUT” EP. The collection’s blend of rock, pop, funk, and R&B drew in scores of new fans and reams of critical acclaim. “This dancetacular affair does what all great EPs do,” declared the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. “It leaves listeners satisfied while at the same time has them anxiously anticipating what the band will do when it lets loose with a full-length.” “Danger Radio’s upbeat disco rock is mostly highlighted by catchy keyboard tunes that Maroon 5 might envy,” noted Miami New Times, while Punkbands.com praised the band as “a one-of-a-kind gem.”

Danger Radio is: Andrew De Torres Vocals; Andy Brookins Guitar; Elan Wright Guitar; Marvin Kunkel Bass; Nico Hartikainen Drums/Programming; Spencer Phillips Keys.
