It seems like everytime I do reviews, John Williams releases a CD. Hey, I don’t mind at all! I saw in him concert and his stuff is just wonderful. This score sounds a lot like the old horror film scores Bernard Herrmann, but also sounds like Williams’ scores of A.I. and Jaws. Slighty though, not a lot. Some parts sound like the score for Braveheart like “A New Beginning.” The first track “Minority Report” starts off dark and then goes though the motions as John Anderton looks for the killer. I love the scurrying sound that he did and that’s the perfect example of using Herrmann’s style. The track “Spyders” is a great theme for the those little spyders that do the eye scanning. His score is really dark and has that sci fi feel to it and it’s definitely better than A.I. John Williams, I think has made the best action scores out there. Put another one under his belt for a great score. I’m going to be deeply upset when Williams stops scoring.
