I regret making fun of this one before seeing it. Turns out this movie was hilarious, adorable, and a lot of fun. The story goes like this: Lizzie McGuire and friends are graduating junior high!! Lizzie messes up graduation as she usually winds up doing…poor girl. Anyway, her and a few fellow friends and students from her class are going on an exciting learning adventure in Rome for the summer, and of course, the fun and adventure never stops. Lizzie is mistaken for Rome’s popular singer Isabella, and meets up with Paolo, Isabella’s singing partner.

Lizzie sneaks out of her hotel day after day to hang out with Paolo and see the beauty that is Rome. I don’t want to go into anymore, I’m not going to spoil this one for anyone who is planning on seeing it. I absolutely loved this movie, basically since I’m a kid at heart, but, it was fun. Hilary Duff is charming, and so are her mischievous little brother, her best friend Gordo, and the rest of the cast.

The behind the scenes is pretty funny, as well as the deleted scenes, though they aren’t too special, and how can you not like the music video for “Why Not”!! This one is perfect for the kid in you, or for the whole family. Check it out!

Features:

– Lizzie and Paolo rock the streets of Rome music video-style.
