Australia’s The Porkers have finally released a DVD! The Porkers ‘Persistence is Futile’ DVD is available now and I’m sure it’s skanktastic! On the DVD, there are 15 clips spanning their 22 year career, plus bonus live footage and behind the scenes stuff. Included on the DVD: The Pork Hunts at the Sydney Teachers Club in 1988, Live in Germany 1995, live in Japan 2005, in the studio 2007, plus other crap!

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are coming back with a brand new album called “Pin Points and Gin Joints.” They are offering a free download of one of their songs called “Graffiti Worth Reading” and it’s awesome! No word when the album is coming out per say but I assume by the time Hometown Throwdown is happening?

Mighty Mighty Bosstones are playing New Jersey this summer, this time in Asbury Park. The show will take place on August 16th in Asbury Park at the Summer Stage. Last summer they played at the Starland Ballroom Summer Campout with the Dropkick Murphys. Catch 22 will be opening up for the Bosstones this time. Tickets are currently on sale at evil empire Live Nation.
