I never really listened to straight up synthpop before, well besides stuff from the 80’s. But it looks like it’s coming back and Elkland will probably be the band to make it popular again. You’d think this band was straight outta of the 80’s, or from Europe. Nope, they are from Horsehead NY haha. This is only a single/EP, a little appetizer for when their first full length “Golden” is released on Columbia Records. Elkland does an interesting cover of The Cranberries “Golden” as well. Fans of The Cure, New Order and other synthpop bands will love this!

Bottom Line: Fun synthpop band that makes you want to dance around the room like a girl haha.
