I’m sure Little Beirut’s music is filled with bright hooks and well-crafted songwriting, but most of the time their music is buried under washed-out distortion, fuzzy/psych effects, and overproduction. Some songs are clearer than others, but unfortunately only during more ballady (and therefore less rockin’) moments.

These guys have a lot going for them, and they’re tapping into some nice, fuzzy 90s pop and shoegaze. But this is a case of too many sounds mucking up melody, and they’re playing up sonic noodling at the sake of the songs.
