3rd album from the punk band from Boston. Featuring Mike McMolgan formerly of Dropkick Murphys on vocals and Joe Sirois formermly of Mighty Mighty Bosstones on Drums, Streets Dogs get stronger and stronger with each record. Focusing their efforts full-time now, Streets Dogs recorded the album in Boston, Texas, and Los Angeles. Their first album “Savin Hill,” was great with songs like “Fighter,” and “Cut Down on the 12th,” and the 2nd album was just as good or even better in “You Alone” and “Back to the World.”

Each album the songs are mostly about the working class folks, and are definitely filled with spirit, and honor to be working for our nation. It’s not any different with “Fading American Dream.” Flogging Molly & Pogues fans should be in for a treat since Matt Hensley of Flogging Molly and James Fearnley of the Pogues both play on the song “Shards of Your Life,” which I think is one of the best tracks on the album. But most of the tunes are real catchy and have that old Dropkick Murphy’s/ Boston Celtic sound to it.

Bottom Line: Fans of DKM, Flogging Molly and any fans of punk rock/oi will love this record.
Notable Tracks: Final Transmission, Not Without a Purpose, Shards of Your Life
